LEWCO 3000HP DC Drawworks – Used

LEWCO LWD3000 HP Drawworks built new in 2003 with Loading Hitches on Master Skid for truck loading. Can be offered as used or rebuilt. The LEWCO L-3000 drawworks produced by LeTourneau Ellis Williams Co in 2003. It is one of the only 3,000 input horsepower drawworks rated at 2 million lb hook load. It is capable of drilling depths of 16,000 ft to 40,000 ft

When offered as Used it Includes:

• OEM LEWCO Catshaft Assembly c/w Catheads Installed
• OEM LEWCO Modified Motor Transmission Skid to Accommodate three EMD 79 DC 1000 HP Motors
• OEM Sandline Drum – Provided to customer & not installed A 36” diameter by 72” long drum that mounts the discs for the hydraulic brakes and the splined hub for connecting to the auxiliary brake.
• Two auxiliary “jack shafts” that mount the PO336 multiple disc clutches for the high / low drum drives.
• A transmission shaft that allows selection of the high / low ratios via the shifter mounted on the motor skid.
• An auxiliary brake coupled to the drum shaft via a manually shifted splined coupling. A catshaft may be supplied if offered as rebuilt A self contained, redundant hydraulic power unit for the braking system.
• A redundant brake system. The system is separated into DS and ODS systems. The machine is equipped with a disc brake system featuring hydraulically applied service brake calipers as well as spring-actuated emergency/ parking brake calipers for fail-safe operation.
• A driller’s control panel with all necessary air and hydraulic controls is located at either end of the driller’s position on the drawworks.
